No you need the male flowers to pollinate the female flowers , otherwise you will not get adequate pollination and the fruit will usually drop off.
Thx figitbones, thought the female flowers were self pollinating on F1s
will leave male flowers on.
No, F1 all female cucumber occasionally throw up a male which should be removed.
F1 Courgettes Patriot are bred to cope with the British climate.
