Pink leaves on my cabbage plants

I planted cabbages a few weeks ago which now have pink leaves I heard Epson salts helped. Is that right and how do I apply it

    I'd water it in, its relatively harmless. My cabbage leave are pinkish near the base, I have not found it is putting off the Cabbage whites or the slugs n' snails.. I have pretty much given up om ,my Sweetheart and Greyhound cabbages...

    Thanks, BLT,

    I had this problem a couple of years ago and was given advice about the Epsom Salts but forgot what to do.
