I was given a pot with a tree seedling in it and this freebie came with it? Any ideas what it is please?

    Oenothera of some sort. O. versicolor maybe.

    Thanks nut. Looks about right. I have the yellow, given to me by the same person, but it's about two feet high. This poor wee article is about a foot high. Maybe a tad undernourished! :-(

    Looks like Sunset boulevard.

    They are generally smaller than biennis though it varies with soil.
