lily of the valley bulbs/pips

My lily of the valley have finished flowering (not very well but that's a whole other story) my question is. Do I lift and store them or just leave them where they are. They are all in pots by the way.

If it were me I would put them into the garden but you do not need to do anything with them. Just leave them alone.

As already said, don't disturb them. If you plant them in the garden, be careful where you do it because they can be very invasive.

If you want to move them once in the garden, transplant when they have leaves - they settle better that way, in my experience.

  • Thank you I will overwinter them in the pots and decide whether to plant them out next year. I would like to but am scared that they are So invasive.

I wish they were invasive. Every one I plant just disappears.
