My daughter has moved into a new house and found this growing in her garden.  Is there anyone who could tell us what it is and any special care treatment if may need...thank you

A beautiful mystery. The flowers look like penstemon, asarina, abelia but I doubt it is any of those - the leaves are all wrong for them. Its difficult to judge the size from your picture so is it large or small?
