Lichen

Hi all,

Not sure if this is in the right section but I'm a teacher at a primary school and in our class we have stick insects which need lichen branches to keep their colouration. I'm just wondering if anyone has any near them that they would be willing to post. I'd be happy to pay postage of course. The type I'm looking for is in the picture below.

Thanks for any help,

Justin

Gosh your stick insects are posh! When I was teaching my stick insects only ate privet. image I may have had a different species though. Hope you find someone to help. It will have to be from someone living where the air is really really clean as those lichens will only grow where there is no air pollution.

Hi Justin,  (Saw the PM but it will not let me reply atm). I've been out for a walk and the one tree that had any is going to be out of bounds until the new school is built.  I did get a few bits but that is all I can do for a couple of years.

I'll see if there's anything else I can enclose for the school gardenimage.

Ladybird if the air is so clean why are my windows so dirty?  Next job methinksimage
