Gladioli bulbs covered in whitefly

I bought these cheap in a sealed bag from Dobbies at weekend. Can I plant them? I've rinsed them in soapy water multiple times but still whitefly are floating on top of water.

You could try but I think it may be a little late now to plant gladioli - my friend's are about 2 feet high already.
