Patio Pear and Plum

I have had a patio pear tree and plum tree now for 2 years.  Still no fruit. What am I doing wrong?

DID EITHER OF THEM PRODUCE FLOWERS?

No flowers.  Lots of new growth which I don't know what to do about either.

WHAT SORT OF PRUNING HAVE THEY HAD, IF ANY?

WHAT SORT OF FEEDING REGIME HAVE THEY HAD, IF ANY?

DO THEY NORMALLY LIVE IN A SUNNY SPOT OR A SHADY ONE OR BOTH?

DO YOU KNOW THE NAMES OF THE VARIETIES?
