If the smell is awful, and right next to your back door, or a window you keep opened, maybe, but if it's tucked away and you don't smell it unless you get close, I'd keep it.

not smelling it at the moment luckily and it is tucked away at the back of the border under the holly tree, i didn't plant it , it has just appeared, as long as we aren't plagued by flies it can stay

It doesn't smell for long, just til it's been fertilised.
