White pampas grass help needed
So I bought 4 small white pampas grass plants at lowes on clearance about a month ago as we were wanting something that would get large and provide some screening eventually.
without reading or even thinking about it, I planted them all in miracle grow soil and went on about my day. Over the last month, they may have grown only very slightly. Looking up information on them, I now realize that they should have been planted in sandy soils that drains quickly.
My question is, should I dig these plants back up at this point to plant them in their preferred soil type or will the trauma of doing that outweigh any benefit?

I live by right plant right place so if it's in the wrong place you'll always have trouble.
Just my opinion, but I'd move it now while it's young. Others may differ?
