Scale insects on jasmine plant

Hello fellow gardeners,

Advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a large jasmine plant growing in a pot and I noticed a lot of ants climbing on the leaves coming up from soil in the pot  and, associated with this, that plant is also being attacked by scale insects. Has anyone got advice on how I can get rid of ants and scale insects without damaging the plant.

    Provado Ultimate Bug Killer would do the job if they are scale insects.
    I've never seen scale insects on a jasmine before, or is it a tracheospermum jasminiodes?
    I get scale insects on my T.jasminoides and use the above.

    Best use it in the evening when the bees have gone to bed.

    Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
    Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
