Lovely picture. Last night when the rain finally stopped I noticed one clinging on to my back door step looking half dead so I put a blob of honey next to it. It appeared to start eating and I later had the satisfaction of seeing it fly off. Made me smile
Hi Dyersend. Just a gentle word, you should never give honey to a bee to try to revive it. Bees should only have honey from their own hive. 1 spoonful of sugar to 2 spoonfuls of water is fine.

Oh dear- thanks for the tip. Hope I haven't hurt it. The step slopes and it was all I could think of that wouldn't just run away.
I am sure that whatever happened later you had the absolute best of intentions and you did say that it 'appeared' to eat it. Fingers crossed
Why is that re feeding them honey? I tried googling but couldn't find anything in much detail.
