Busy Fathers Day

I sadly lost my father in 2000, so I kept myself busy in the garden today planting up my two blue pots, and taking pictures of my other plants that bring a smile to my face and make me remember my wonderful father.

    ?and?. I too lost my daddy. He was killed in the Piper Alpha oil rig. I remember him in my plants too. He loved honeysuckles and fuchsias. Coming from the far north coast of Scotland he was restricted in what would grow but what he did was amazing . 

    Fathers Day can be sad but when we are in our world of plants it makes me remember and smile x

    I know it was Fathers Day but my Mum died in March and in the last 3 months my garden has been a god-send for me.  I can lose myself in weeding for hours with a completely empty mind !
