Not technically gardening
on looking through the daily mail today I came across an advert for a "Standard" Oleander which I was interested in. Part of the way through reading I came on an "extra bonus offer" of a pair of Tulipa 11" Diameter Square planters, can any one explain how a square pot can have a diameter. we were taught at school that a circle has a diameter and a square has four sides of equal length, it irks me to think that the person that compiled the advert is probably university educated and earning tens of thousands of pounds for this. Whatever has happened to our education system in the UK..
