can you help me please i have a peris plant in a tub for years now and its been really lovely but all of a sudden its gone leggy it bore plenty of white flowers in abundance they have gone thats when i notice it had gone leggy what can i do
any advice would be appreciated thank you Lynn

Take it out of the pot and put it in the garden - it needs more space.
I'm just looking out the front window at one along the road from me. It's a good bit higher than the top of the front door, and that also has steps going up to it. It's at least ten feet, by about five feet diameter.
They're big shrubs, given the right conditions. Ladybird's right - it will thank you for being in the ground and given room to thrive properly. They're ok in pots short term, but they aren't really ideal potted specimens long term.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Agree with the above, Lynn - though when you turn it out of the container, make sure there are no vine weevil grubs having a feast on the roots. Plants in containers are susceptible to attack.
Pieris 'Little Heath' is small enough for a big container, if you have no room in your garden.
