flower id please?

hi all - this little beauty has popped up out of nowhere, can anyone tell me what it is?  It's in a really awkward spot to photograph, so apologies if it's not much to go on!  thanks. ximage

    It looks very much like a Spring gentian. I have put a link here so you can take a look and see if it matches leaves etc.

    can you take a photo that shows which leaves belong to this plant and shows the shape of the flower from the top

    Is it a packet of mixed seeds you have sprinkled?

    Blue flax seems to be in a lot of those this year.

    Does look a bit like blue flax, but I've never seen it anything like that colour, usually a more pale sky blue in my experience.  Do hope someone can make a certain ID.

    Its a Phacelia campanularia or desert bluebell. Isn't Google marvellous.
