To be honest, they are such willing plants that I feel you can do it whenever you like! Ours are all in full flower - see if you can find an edge piece with few if any flowers, dig it out and plant it - what have you to lose bar your empty patches. They'll get there anyway under their own steam given time …….
I did mine two weeks ago (it was hot with no rain) they were fine, I'd just put them in with some nice compost to improve the soil and make sure you keep them well watered.
