white / cream slug

Hello

can anyone tell me what this is please as its killing my lawn 

it's white/cream, about a cm to 1.5cm. No real head but two very small tenticals, all sameimage color

    Its just a slug. The birds will get it (if you don't despatch it soon) as it stands out in the green grass. On its own it cannot kill your lawn though they do eat plants.

    just found loads of these on my garden image, and worried about the dogs eating them - is there a way to "get rid" of them?

     Ditto we've just got a pup and when it rains at night/morning I see hundreds of these on the lawn. Little white baby slugs, I think the birds have been helping clear them. Make the garden more attractive to them and hedgehogs.

    You could use slug pellets and they will get rid of some of them, but the pellets will be much more harmful to your dogs than the slugs are.  

    The best thing to do is to apply nematodes  regularly

     and do  the responsible thing and ensure that the dogs have the appropriate parasite treatment and it's kept  up to date.
