What's happened to my shrub?

My shrub (think its a pyracantha but please correct me if this is not the case!) is looking rather sickly this year. Usually it would be covered in foliage and little white flowers at this time of year but this year there are very few flowers and lots of sparce and dead looking wood. The berries ( usually red/orange) are also mostly black and shrivelled. One of the plants took a beating in a storm in winter but there are 2 and the one that didn't take a beating looks the same. See pics. Any ideas? imageimage

Hi there. Pyracantha is unfortunately susceptible to fireblight and scab which both look fairly similar. Fireblight is very sudden and severe. I have copied and pasted these notes from the RHS website and hope this will help you.

    Symptoms

You may see the following symptoms:

On leaves Infection appears initially as dark spots on the leaf surface. Infected leaves soon fall and a severe attack can extensively defoliate the plant On flowers Infected flowers shrivel and do not form fruit On fruit Disfigured, blackened areas and cracking of the surface On stems Young stems may die back
