Referendum, Doesn't it make you spit!!

A lot of us had a pie of propaganda through our letter boxes for the last month.  Lots of doom n' gloom scaremongering, lying etc..

What is bugging me is I vote by post and so I voted 2 weeks ago.. Yet only this week has there been any real info or televised debates to help the Voter make the right choice...  It seems Postal voters have been forgotten...

What say you guys??image

On my facebook page lifelong friends have parted over their decision to vote stay or leave. Communities have been split asunder so I refuse to say how my vote is going.

According to facebook all leavers are women hating rascists and all remains are wishy washy europhiles with no sense of community. I'm not even going there!!!

Thatwas not a lot of help, I mean the In or Out thread...  We were encouraged to check on the BBC web site on 'Reality Check yet that is government funded and was so Biased to the Innies..

I am saddened that friends have fallen out over this issue..  But I know there is a depth of feeling over this decision.  There have been to many  biased threats from so called Heads of State voiced etc and its none of their business really...

Yes our children may reap what we are about to sow, but we can only vote on what we know...

I do not think I will be losing any friends over it, the one who was the most insulting and the loudest in the local pub is a stauch labourite and has other odd views..  Tells us house owners that we are all stinking capitalist lol..So I ignored him...

But it does make one think..I am of an age where WW11 was over lomg before I was born... They had a tough time with many years of Austerity and the NHS was born a while later on...

We cannot predict the outcome, no one can... lets just see how it goes..  we know about the last 40 years, so Hindsight might be a wonderful thing but who knows what will happen in the next 40 years...

The NHS is the 5th largest employer in the world.  It is unable to recruit the staff it needs from within the UK.

Do you know that 10% of NHS doctors and 4% of NHS nurses are from the EU?   Do you seriously think waiting times will reduce if they all have to go home?

  • Membership of the EU doesn't seem to have done Spain any good, with massive unemployment,, or Greece, with its massive financial problems. On the other hand, Switzerland and Norway seem to be doing fine!

I returned mine to Downing Street, did not even look at it.

I am sick of all the back stabbing and lies. Cameron even brought in American muscle in Obama.  Its got nothing to do with America or any other non - British citizen.

What it is, is that the members of the EU being scared silly they will lose our money...billions of it props up the EU. We were viable before we joined and we will be viable coming out.

Latest is all the old folk will lose their pensions...ha how will that work? 3/4 of the electorate are pensionable age.

This is a repeat of a thread, from a few weeks ago, which caused so much trouble, and hatred, that it caused people to leave the forum.

None of my business, but could I suggest we put this thread to bed, before the same happens again.
