Can anyone tell me what this plant is, it was in my garden when i moved here, I've. Moved it many times in two years and  it seems to be indestructible!....shame the colour doesn't really go with my scheme!image

Mackers, it looks like some sort of dianthus (or pink) - don't know the variety though.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

This Dianthus looks similar to your plant, Mackers...

... If they're the same then the variety is Faganza - assuming the card I found last night is correct.

I found this poor specimen under a dense invasion of poppies that appeared since the Dianthus was put in last year.

Thanks all, I thought it looked a bit like a carnation. Birdy I can't see your pic but I've googled it and looks similar

They're from the same family as carnations Mackers. Try to make room for them, they smell great. Pop them in a pot beside the door where they won't clash with anything. image

Or send them to me. image

Just wondering why the picture failed. I'm trying again after cropping it slightly although it looks like you may have had a proper answer from plant pauper.

    (lets see if that worked)
