Mushrooms on the Lawn

Hi,

I need some advice in how to rid the lawn of a patch of Mushrooms that have appeared.  They're on a patch that doesn't get much light and is generally wetter that the rest, but I've managed to get the the grass to grow for the first time this year!  Pic attached.

Thanks.

They're just the 'fruit' from the mushroom that is underground.
They'll disappear of their own accord soon enough.

Thanks.  If I mow them, when I do the grass, will it cause them to spread all over the lawn?

No. The air around us is full of spores of all sorts. Some will settle and grow the vast majority will not.

The mushrooms are just the fruit of a complex web of 'roots' that lie under the soil just about everywhere. The little mushrooms will be releasing spores all the time - that's their job, so it'll make no difference if you mow, and when the ground dries out a bit the mushrooms will vanish.
They pop up here and there in gardens and on lawns - just ignore them.

Mind you, yours do look a bit like magic mushrooms (psilocybin), but I wouldn't advise trying them
