Lawn Feed and Weed

As a fairly inexperienced gardener I would appreciate a share in some of your knowledge.

Yesterday I applied Evergreen 4 in 1 to my lawn as per the instructions which state NOT To Apply if heavy rain is imminent.

As the forecast was clear I went ahead. 5 hours later the forecast was proved false as a heavy thunderstorm ensued including torrential rainfall for over an hour.

My question: have I just wasted the bag of treatment or will it still do the job?

I'm afraid there's only one way to find out and that's the "wait and see" method. It'll definitely have affected the efficacy of the treatment but there's no way of knowing by how much. image

I doubt it'll have much effect.
I use 4 in 1 a couple of times a year, sometimes followed by heavy rain, I've not noticed any difference. I still get black patches where I've overdone it image

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
