Hi, I got some salvia embers wish a few weeks back and they flowered well and the flowers are now fading, should I dead head them or trim them down by a third or something else to get them to flower again this year? cant find much about these on the net

There new thats probabley why. I used to give my hot lips a good prune after flowering. It came back even looking better. I hope that helps.
