hi all I have just started growing lupins. This afternoon it looked like this and now it looks like this please can someone help me and tell me why it's drooping
oh sorry but as i scrolled down it did make me laugh has it enough water? my dahlias droop after a days sun and have to water them to revive them. the leaves in both pics look a bit droopy too.
Hi Sharon74, yes I think it needs some shade too. I've got some lupins that I grew from seed this year so I'm not actually putting them in the garden until next year. Unfortunately I left them in the potting shed last night and some leaves were all curled up this morning as it was so hot in there. I watered them and have put them in the shade outside and they seem to have recovered.
Lupins put down a long tap root and don't do well in containers. Give it a drink in the mean time but try to find somewhere in the garden for it. It'll do much better in the ground.

they are watered regular twice a day especially in this heat. Is there anything else I can do?
Give it some shade?
