Alpine Strawberry - Fragaria vesca

I was given a pot which was labelled Fragaria vesca, alpine strawberry recently. I've put it in a pot for my doorstep.
I'm just wondering if I would need another pot of it for pollination and fruit bearing to occur? Although I have seen plants of this species advertised online as being self fertile.

no, that will be OK. Strawbs have male and female bits in the same flower.
