Evergreen Honeysuckle, which one?
After some great advice on GWF, I have decided on some Honeysuckle to cover my back fence panels.
I will be going down the evergreen route as advised and was wondering which one / ones to go for, are the Japonica the evergreen type?
If so, I was looking at
Halliana
Hall's Prolific
Darts World / Red World
If anyone has any experience of the above how do they get on, mine will be in the below beds ( 6ft x 2ft x 2ft ) and growing up the trellis.
Also, would I be OK putting 2 in the middle bed?, or would that be too congested?
Thanks

Hi Sheps. Those are good choices. Darts World I think is only semi evergreen. Another rampant evergreen honeysuckle is Lonicera henryi. I don't think you need two in your central planter as they are so vigorous. Liz
Thanks for the quick reply, Liz...and thanks for the advice, I'll go with just the one in each flower bed.
Will check out henryi tonight.
