Dwarf Dhalias
in Plants
Last year I grew dwarf dhalia`s from seed and they all germinated. I left them in the soil over winter and now they have grown back.
I was led to believe that dwarf dhalia`s weren`t perennial!
So glad they have but can someone confirm.

Most dahlias are perennial, they form tubers which will overwinter. Most bedding dahlias are grown from seed and are a fast growing type which will flower early and can thus be treated as annuals. As you have found, in a mild winter, they will survive to grow again.
I know that dahlias are tubers but i researched dwarf dahlias and it said they were once flowering and would not come back the following year. So glad they did though! Thank you!
I know I spelt Dahlia`s wrong! Ha!
