They root really easily in autumn; take cuttings, put in a large pot full of sand and by next spring they will have rooted with a success rate of probably 90 percent. No need to coddle them.
Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.

Hi bernie. You can take cuttings. Best in Autumn using non flowering shoots - similar to what you do with other shrubs.
