in Wildlife gardening

out titivating this shrub and check out what I very nearly put my hand in ...... neighbours must have thought I was being murdered !!! too too soft but urg spiders

    yes i get them, if you lightly blow on them they scatter through the web image

    They keep together in the centre to keep warm and scatter when disturbed to startle predators (or arachnophobes in this case! image)  Just think of all of the thousands of greenfly they will catch and eat in their short lives which would otherwise be damaging your plants! image

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    well bob , you're right there is that ha !!! I just leave em to do their own thang but I hate it when I touch one or vice versa ....and yes I do run image
