    It's a variegated weigela, possibly 'Florida Variegata'.

    Actually i don't like variegated leaf plants v much - wonder if you can get normal leaf weigela with similar to that colour flower?   can explore now - thanks Bob  image

    Yes, lots of non-variegated types available.  I agree and don't grow many variegated things apart from Euonymus "Emerald 'n' Gold" which stays small and I have dotted around to brighten up the garden in winter.
