Topiary cats take social media by storm http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-36379324
OMG! That's brilliant. B3! Totally inspiring. Love it. Love it. Love it.
Even if they're not actually 'real' topiary but created via the old computer generated graphics, they're absolutely superb!
I once tried a peacock in topiary and I used to ask everyone who came to the garden what they thought it was.
Everyone made the same response.
'It looks like a turkey' they said.
My OH chopped it's head off. End of topiary.
Good effort MU. At least it looked like a bird!!
I have a very health totally boring box hedge lurking under my acer but I'm afraid to do anything with it so I just trim it now and again.
It's body is still intact........just need the tail feathers to re-grow.
And the head.....
Google Mike the Headless Chicken , muddleup. It may inspire you
Yes it's all photoshopped. According to the article, some people refuse to believe it. I expect some people will be inspired to try to produce the real thing on a smaller scale. I want the one with the cats on the wall!
I had seen those they are really excellent pieces of art. When she was young my Mum was plucking a headless chicken that jumped off her lap and ran off. She really didn't like birds much after that.
