I grow clematis in the garden but each year the flowers are eaten. What is eating them and what can I do
Earwigs!!!!!!
Snails are the usual culprit.
Try rolling up a newspaper, then soak it thoroughly, then place it like a collar on the floor round the base of your clematis this evening. Tomorrow morning gently unroll the newspaper, shake it, and see if any earwigs drop out. Let us know.
