holly trouble

hi,

we have a holy bush and the leaves are turning yellow with black spots/blotches and then falling off . |||This happens every year and while the bush keeps going it fills with flowers and the start of berries but we never seem to get t the point of actually getting any berries . Any suggestion's would be a great help .

    I have the same on my holly tree, but I do get berries.  There are quite a few hollies round here so mine gets polinated.  If yours is in splendid isolation then it might be the reason you are not getting berries.

    Hi Mark it sounds like the flowers are not getting pollinated.If its not a self pollinating one. You need both a female and male holly for successfull pollination
