Is this campanula punctata?

I saw it in a magazine and put it on my wish list. After a bit of research it seems like it spreads quite a bit... But there are the lovely bells, tempting me again. Can you tell me more about this plant? Is it invasive to the point you wish you hadn't planted it?

Hi Julie. If you are talking about the pink bell shaped flowers with the white edge then yes, this is campanula punctata. I have some but I don't consider them to be too invasive, and with flowers like that I don't really care image

I agree ladybird. In my first house I had a wee ordinary campanula and it crept everywhere. Over the broken bricks in the wall, around the cracked concrete on the step...."you work away there" I thought. Even when not in flower, which was about two weeks a year it seemed, the leaves were a fresh rich green.

Thank you Ladybird and Plant pauper.

So it would play nicely with other perennials, fruit shrubs and trees? (She asks, full of hope...)
