School Sunflowers

Hello!

I'm wanting to grow sunflowers with my year 1 class next half term. Our term is only 6 weeks long and many sunflowers take much longer than that to grow from seed to flower.

I was hoping someone might be able to suggest some varieties that would be faster growing so we could see them flower within the term!

Thanks!

Dwarf sunflower 'Little Dorrit' flower from June - September, but sowing indoors should be done before the end of May. My grandchildren still grow them at their school, but they bring them home before flowering & plant them in the garden.
