Hi , I bought this my first ever Hosta on Saturday from a charity sale. I would be chuffed if anyone could identify the variety for me . I've had a look online but couldn't be certain, it looked a little like one called Francee. Thankyou.imageimage

The border looks a little larger then Francee. Have a look at Hosta Patriot, but perhaps the border should be thicker. Early days, see how it matures.

There are thousands, so a bit hard to be 100% sure.

If Hosta does not know, no chance for the rest of us!

There are hundreds of new varieties introduced every year, mostly from usa and Japan. Some stand the test of time, others fall by the wayside for various reasons.

Thanks Hosta for having a guess , I'll pot into a nice clay pot and nurture it a while and see what it looks like when it's bigger.
