Identification Needed

For about 12 years, I had a miniature tree in a pot, it only grew to just over a metre tall. From memory, it was a miniature tree.

it was very neglected but I decided to finally give it some TLC 

To cut a long story short, I damaged it so I took some cuttings and a few of them are doing very well and have rooted.

For the life of me, I can not remember what sort of tree it is so I would be very appreciative if anyone can give me any clues as to what sort of tree this will grow up to be.

    Hi glynis. Its quite hard to tell at this stage. Could be many trees. Did your original flower at all? At the moment it looks as if it could be a buddleja and these are tough and would survive 12 years in a pot. image
