Hi all....this is my 1st ever post so go easy on me haha...
Can anyone tell me what thus is please....it is our 1st summer in out new house and thus stuff is coming up in all borders...

Ground elder
Hello redbob 1969 and welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately this is the dreaded ground elder. An invasive and hard to eradicate weed. You need to use a strong weedkiller with Glyphosate in it and don't plant any treasured plants in your borders until you are sure it has all gone. It spreads by underground rhizomes and even a little bit broken off will re-grow. It can even creep in from neighbouring gardens. Patience is needed to deal with it as it can be done. So sorry I couldn't give you any better news!
if the neighbours have it too you will need to put in some sort of barrier below ground to stop it coming back through from neighbours once you have eradicated it from your side, i once dug it all out of my mums garden but because i didn't know then to put in a barrier, it is now back in her garden again everywhere !
