    Aubergine?

The leaves look a different shape to my pepper (chilli or bell) plants

They look a little like goosefoot (chenopodium) seedlings to me which is an edible weed which seeds profusely.  I really hope it isn't though!

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

We have some heritage tomatoes poking their heads up at our community garden which if I hadn't opened the packet, sown and labelled myself, I wouldn't have thought were tomatoes.....not convinced yours are tomatoes though, have you any idea what variety they should be if they are tomatoes? Best way to find out what the are now is to let them grow and see what happens.

A couple of years back i bought some gazania seeds from ebay, after completing the sale, i noticed they were coming from China. Anyway, the seeds duly arrived, i planted them, waited impatiently, and after about a month i had twelve little pots of...............grass :-)  Yep, i had paid £2.50 for 30 grass seeds, a lesson learned lol

Sorry, not hijacking the thread, it just reminded me :-)

Hello, I think that they probably are tomatoes and look similar to the heirloom variety Outdoor Girl.  x
