Hi,

My idiotic landlord's gardener has somehow managed to successfully take off the head of one of my Christophii's that are coming up. I even marked it off with bamboo so that he would notice it but noooo.... strimmed it to pieces.

If I plonk the unopened flower head on the remaining 6inchs of stalk in a mini vase will the flower open up or am I clutching at straws?

A head transplant? I'm thinking straws right enough. Pop it in water with the base just touching and you might get lucky but don't plan an opening party.
