I have about four hanging baskets in shade, this year I have put begonia illumination in them. They have nice big leaves and a trailing habit and of course tolerate shade very well.
Impatiens do well in shade as do variegated vinca which I've kept from the winter hanging baskets, that looked great all winter.

I think Creeping Jenny's happy in shade - it's about foliage rather than flowers though - the golden "Aurea" looks great.
