Plant ID please
Could this be a hosta? It's just emerging on a pot which has been put to one side for most of a year which is what I tend to do with perennials which get slug munched early on. They get lifted, put in a pot and I cross my fingers. Can't think what else it could be. The baby lily bulbs which I rescued from weevil things, I labeled. This unfortunately, I didn't. I've added a photo but can't see if it's worked. Thanks

I'm on my phone and can't enlarge the picture, but it's a definite maybe in my opinion ;-)

Yes it could. Soloman's Seal comes through strong and pointy too but Hostas do this kind of thing.

Thanks Dove and Tetley. I was intending to be patient and see what happened, but that was yesterday and my patience ran out. I discovered a second such plant earlier today so have moved the pots to the hosta area and am crossing my fingers.
Sorry, Nut, our responses crossed. Are you voting hosta or non hosta? I looked at pics of lily of the valley emerging before posting and it looks quite similar, but the ones I tried died last year. These sort of look hosta-ish but also don't look quite the same
Is that as far as yours have got Tetley T?

To me it looks like a lily, but I can't enlarge it either and I'm on a pad.
I think you'll just have to wait and see
(then label the pot

Could it be a lily bulb? Obviously not if you've never planted any but that's what mine looked like last year :-)
