My partner has come home with a supermarket bought Celosia Caracus Deep Purple plant. Whilst it would look nice in a border, I am not sure if it would handle northern British winter frosts. Has anyone tried going one of these plants outdoors?
Hi Westwind. Celosias are tender and will not survive our British winters outdoors. They are normally treated as annuals here and look fine in bedding displays.
