    Alpina?

I'm assuming it's flowering now so it could be Columbine, alioconnor. One of the Alpinas. It looks very similar anyway.

Take a look at some of the online clematis specialists like Taylor's Clematis or Raymond Evison and see if you can match it. There are lots and lots of varieties though!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi thanks yes covered in flowers.  I have had a look online but can't see it.

Try just typing in Clematis Columbine. That will bring up some photos and you can make a bit of a comparison that way.

The alpina varieties are very pretty. I have Constance which has lovely deep pinky/violet flowers. The seed heads are gorgeous too.  image

Richard - this is a problem a few people are having with the new forum. Ironically, I can see everyone else's pix but can't post any of my own!

I think someone else had the same issue and has let the tech team know, but you could report it on the thread entitled 'Your new-look forum' to make sure. Daniel has been helping everyone today and the issues and glitches are being addressed. image
