Can anyone identify this plant please?

I acquired this plant when I bought a ready planted basket last year. When the annuals in the basket had finished I planted this perennial in my border, where it did so well that this year I have divided it. It is low growing, has dark purplish leaves and bright blue flowers which are out now (early May). Any ideas?

I've just Googled ajuga and sure enough, there it is. Ajuga reptans atropurpurea.
