Hi everyone, I've just come back from a trip to Donegal in Ireland and we've being wondering what these plants where - any ideas? We saw them in Glenveagh National Park. (The second one was growing in a pond).

    Hi Denno.

First one looks like a member of the Clary family. I agree with nutcutlet about number two. Number three looks like a Clivia and the fourth one is annoyingly familiar but it's name escapes me at the moment!

Last one is a species Pelargonium called Pelargonium graveolens. These days it takes sooo much longer for information to get up out of the grey matter!

Did you take any more photos of number one?

I fully endorse Ladybird's last sentence

Lol, I'll double check but I think that is the only one of the first one my boyfriend took it (he's a gardener so it's nice that we can both debate about these things!)
