Lythrum Rosy Gem

MeelyMeely Posts: 79
I'd like to plant this in my garden, I've got the moisture retentive poorly drained soil it needs but the position is like to put it in isnt in full sun all day. It will get a fair amount of sun however (maybe 5-7 hours) but will it be enough? Does anyone grow this or similar lythrum and know the answer?

  • I would say that 5-7 hours is plenty.

I grow lythrum rosy gem, I grow mine in full sun, but I would of thought 5- 7 hours would more than enough. rosy gem can get a fair size in its first season.  I got dropmore purple aswell
