Thanks Nutcutlet - I think I'll go with the Beech hedge, as Beeches are my.
favourite trees - they look so beautiful in the Spring and I love the way the
dried leaves rustle in the wind in the winter. Also I think the birds will
love it too.
I love beech as well, lovely
Went to a GC today to ask about the beech hedge, but they don't start
selling it until the end of October, so will have to be patient. In the meantime
my OH has to cut down the leylandaii (what fun!) and then I have to clip
all the big branches into little snippets (think maybe I'll persuade him to hire
a shredder or I'll be there until Christmas)
