 Morning all!

I've got a small bed under this cotoneaster.  I've cleared a load of weeds and most unsuitable plants from under it and planted some white bedding plants and some primroses I plucked out the lawn!!  (re-cycling)  However, the soil at the base of the bed is soon shallow that nothing is surviving in there.  Any suggestions for spreading bedding plants that don't need much soil?  I think I've got some Bacopa which can trail down but that will take some time.  Thanks peeps!

There are prostrate Campanulas and Phloxes, which would do well.

How can you lie there and think of England

Lithodora has beautiful bright blue flowers from spring to mid summer.

Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.

I've planted some white campanula at the top. Maybe I could repeat it below. I like the idea of phlox. What about sedums?
